Answer
Needle Fasciotomy Treatment as Out Patient

I went to Ontario, OR in August 2006 to get the N/A treatment for Dupuytren's Contracture after I rejected my HMO's suggestion that I wait for it to get so bad that I needed an invasive and ineffective surgery that would require months of P/T.
The Dupuytens Center in Ontario, OR by way of Boise, ID was very helpful while I was making arrangements (even after I had to cancel on Aug 10th because of airport security problems). The procedure went well & quickly; not too much pain or discomfort. I have not had any problems with infection, and have not had to take any pain medicine - I do keep my hand covered if travelling in airports, but outside of that all is well. 3 weeks afrer the procedure I do have some mild discomfort with some hand movements (reaching down mostly), but otherwise it has been a great experience for me. PLUS I CAN PLAY GUITAR/MANDOLIN AGAIN!!!!
Dr. Kline is providing a great service to those of us that have this strange problem, and I have to thank him and his great staff for helping me with this problem, and providing a solution. Please feel free to contact me about this treatment that I received and paid for (plus airfair and shuttle to and from)
