NA in California
A new NA hand doctor is in Idaho? What is his or her name? I also live in California. I would love to have an NA doctor in LA or Sacramento. Mean while a new NA doctor in Idaho is exciting news. Does anyone else know about this?

NA Procedure for DC - 7 Months Update
Doctor William Bourland, Memphis, Tennessee performed the Needle Aproneurotomy on both hands/fingers (Of course not on the same day). The results to date are fantastic. My recommendation to anyone that has DC/DD go for the NA procedure, not surgery, unless it is absolutely necessary. May all with DC have the great results that I have had. I had rather have fifty (50) NAs than one surgery for DC. Thatis one of the advantages of NA: You can have it over and over, if necessary - no so with surgery. NA has several other advantages over surgery that you may want to research.

NA procedure for DC - Dr. William Bourland
Peggy,
Thank you for your endorcement of the Needle Aproneurotomy for Dupuytren's Contracture. Dr. Bourland did a wonderful job on my hands and fingers. It is amazing to me: the use of my hands and fingers as they were intended to be. Thank God for giving Dr. Bourland the skill to perform this medical procedure.

There are other doctors
There are other doctors who have learned from Dr. Eaton and who know who to do the NA procedure. Unfortunately, it is taking them time to gear up. There is lots of demand within their own practices.

a correction
Sarah B;
I am afraid your last posting is not quite accurate. Dr. Eaton has NOT trained anyone in the dups Paris procedure. I personally asked him when he did my recent surgery. Also, I know his colleague who has joined in performing NA was trained in Paris. So, please do not allow misinformation to be passed along. Thanks for your interest.

Re:correction
I stand corrected. I assumed that my surgeon and his colleagues were trained by Dr. Eaton. Although they know Dr. Eaton, that does not mean that they learned NA from him.

Re:Correction
I had to take a little breather to get beyond the "thanks for your interest" comment. I had NA done last month. It was not done by Dr. Eaton or his associate, and I didn't travel to Paris. Many hand surgeons are aware of NA and they are educated about it. My point and my suggestion is that anyone who is considering NA, please do a little research and call and question the hand surgeons in your state. You may be surprised.
