Suspicious site
Yes, you're an optimist. And that's ok :-)
Biospecifics is a small public company, about half of which is held by the Wegman family, who founded it. In 2003, for example, CEO Wegman recevied 405k in compensation, out of revenues of 3M - a year in which the company's return-on-equity figure was -63 and profit margin was -85%. It's been like that year after year. This company is never going to complete FDA trials of anything.
As far as the bill for this web site - I just created one for a friend. Registering the domain costs $20 a year, and the monthly bill for the site hosting is $5.
I hope Auxilium does better and yes I have seen the reports here of phase III trials in the near future. I rode the emotional roller-coaster with Biospecifies for several years, so by now my reaction to announcements of coming trials is basically... ho-hum.

Suspicious site
I accidently happened upon this site while looking for information about Florida vacation spots. The public should be very careful about taking advice from forums like this. See your local surgeon. He/she will give you the straight facts. Dr. Amtel Rour

Hello
Dear Dr. Rour,
Welcome. May I suggest you visit www.handcenter.org? That website explains NA fully and the procedure *is* performed by a Certified Hand Surgeon.
There are three Certified Hand Surgeons in the states who specifically trained in Paris France to perform it and currently there is a study underway by Dr. Eaton. If you are going to visit Florida, may I suggest you contact his office ask to see him work? Dr. Eaton is very open an is used to questions/phone calls from other doctors. The average procedure takes about 1 - 2 hours - it might be well worth your time. A small price to pay for knowledge of an alternative to surgery for your DC patients.
I'd like to point out that NA is now covered by many insurance companies and had been publically accepted by N.I.C.E from England. Dr. Eaton is putting together a study - hopefully that will be out soon so professionals like yourself will feel more comfortable recommending it.
Please feel free to ask and questions, post any statements no matter how sceptical they may be (it's understandable), we will patiently answer your questions.
Good luck and God Bless,
Anon
