Quick treatment options for Ledderhose nodules
Night before last I suddenly experienced severe pain in my foot when walking--a week before we are leaving for Europe. There is a small, slightly hardened area at the center of the painful area. |

Re: Quick treatment options for Ledderhose nodules
Hi Marian, steroid injections are common for treating Ledderhose. They can soften the nodule and hold bback the disease for a while. See also http://www.dupuytren-online.info/ledderhose_therapies.html |

Re: Quick treatment options for Ledderhose nodules
Thanks. From what I already knew about cortisone--Dr. Denkler plans to follow up the NA on my right hand with some cortisone injections--I agreed that it seemed like the best bet. But the forum always has good ideas, so thought I'd pose the question and see if I got any other good suggestions. I guess I really want to hear that cortisone is a miracle--all be it short term--cure and that I'll be fine!! |
