Thank you Spanishbuddha. No, initial surgery did not consist of contracture which is upsetting to me because I believe I could have waited to see what was really going on. Now I do have a contracture which will require a 2nd surgery. I wish I had been better informed back in 2011. I'm nervous about the surgery because of down-time and the impact it will have on my job.

Are there other options than surgery? NA or Xiaflex? I am just so hesitant about surgery now.
