Golf Grip

Despite being in Stage IV, it never affected my golf grip as my game was so awful!!

The hardest thing was shaking hands either before or after the golf game!

No problem with gripping a club - the worst is getting your ball out of the cup if the flagstick is still in - I've gotten my hand stuck more than once!

Until I had Dr. Eaton fix my finger I had to have help getting my ball out of the cup.

GOLF GAME

THE DC HAS STARTED TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE WHEN I GRIP THE CLUB. SO, I HAD SOFTER AND LARGER GRIPS PUT ON ALL MY CLUBS WHICH HAS HELPED ME CONTINUE TO PLAY.

Golf Grip

A couple weeks ago I ordered the bionic golf glove $24.95 +SH that was developed for people suffering from arthritis. I heard Paul Harvey talking about it. It works very well, holds the club snug with little effort. The web site is www.bionicgloves.com. They also sell gardening gloves and other types for people who need help gripping.

If there was a "triggering event" that brought on my DD, it was one fat swing of a 3 wood. I let out a scream that could have been heard the other side of the course. I knew I did something nasty to the back side of my left hand. (torn ligaments where it's not worth the risk of surgery according to my CHS) I had to give up golf. About a year later the palm of the same hand developed wrinkles and eventually the pinky and ring curled to almost 30 degrees. On 2-11-05 Dr. Eaton performed NA and so far so good.

Back to golf, about 5 years ago I decided to try to hit a ball from the other side. It didn't go far but there was NO PAIN. I bought a set of left handed clubs, took some lessons and shot an 82 from the blue tees the summer before last. (Don't ask about last summer). I plan to be one of the few people on the planet who has ever broken 80 from both sides of the ball.

Now, to my fellow posters who are having trouble removing the ball from the cup, try using your other hand.
