Hi Jerry, Yes, I read your same message in May, when I wrote to the forum that I had an appointment to see if I would be a candidate for this laser treatment. Had I taken your advice, I would not have had the sucessful results that I have now experianced. All I can say is your sources are out of date. How many laser machines are out there? The particular laser I had was one of only "25" used across the country. It must be state of art...it helped me as well as others. Again, the machine is provided by Laser Therapeudics, inc. the web site is www.lasertherapy.us if you need to learn more. I suggest that you should.

Hi Jim, My Dr is in Palm Springs, (CA) and his phone # is 760.416.6444. The web site has the other doctors connected with this laser, if this location is too far from you.

laser therapy
Hi Gay, How did this laser therapy work? Was it similar to the lithotipsy (high intensity shock waves) which can turn kidney stones that are less than 1" in diameter to powder? Did they treat nodules for reduction or was this a pain relief therapy? Mary Beth

It wasn't necessary for you to attempt to kill the messenger.
The last person that sang the merits of LLLT turned out to be connected with the unit's supplier.

I also wanted to learn about LLLT, however the site you indicate is not valid for use in the USA. Directed to USA site, however it is non-existent. Are you putting us on?

That's the first time I've seen a web site that's "not valid" in the U.S. The only reason I can think of would be legal protection - perhaps they are making claims that can't be substantiated to the degree required by U.S. regulatory agencies.
That wouldn't necessarily mean that LLLT is ineffective, only unproven at this point. I have not found any medical or scientific information on the web relating to LLLT treatment for Duputren's.
