new very early diagnosis

My grandmother suffered from the disease; my father (now aged 68) had surgery for straightening the fingers 10 years ago (problem has now re-occurred, and his view is that surgery was a waste of time). I'm female, 44, and aware of the symptoms, have noted a lump very early on in my palm. Just been diagnosed, obviously at an extremely early stage, but in view of my age, believe it will get a lot worse. I'm a pianist (not professional), but keyboard skills are also very important to my job. I feel at least I ahve been diagnosed early, does anyone know of any up and coming treatments. I like in United Kingdom. If there are any research tests, etc, I would like to take part. Jackie

web diagnosis

by searching the web, and finding a few sites on this
condition, it appears that i have the disease :).

my visit to a local hospital here in korea resulted
in some heat lamp treatment.. and no talk of any
disease.

i may attempt to have treatment at a hospital here
and report any good results.

the condition seems like something brought on by aging
which got me at 53.

I think it would be worth your while to do some research before opting for treatment, especially while in a Country where D/C has only a slight incidence.
