I bought maps of Paris and a travel book of France yesterday. I will email Dr. Dubois tomorrow.

Dr Badois

I emailed Dr Badois on October 14 at dr.f.badois@wanadoo.fr.
I am waiting for a reply. How long does it usually take? Did I have the right address?

Charlie/Dr. Badois

Charlie, I too have emailed the Dr. in Paris, included pics of my had. I used the same email you did, it didn't come back so I am assuming he received it. I emailed 10/19. Have you heard from him.

To all others, if I call, will someone speak English there? I assume the doc won't be the one answering the phone and read that he speaks English.

Any advise? Traudl

Dr Badois

No, I still have not heard from Dr Badois. I emailed Walt and he said sometimes Dr Badois is very busy. He said I should be patient. Please let me know if you reach him by phone. Thank you.

Dr. Badois/from Traudl

Hi Charlie, This afternoon I received an email from Dr. Badois. He gave me an appointment for Jan. 19, some directions to his office and told me the procedure will cost me 180 Euros (only one is needed he says, since I am in stage II). I am sooo happy to have heard from him and I hope he will answer you today also. Did you send him pictures? I did.

Let me thank all of you on the forum; your info led to my own diagnoses and I am totally convinced that the needle procedure is the way to go. My ticket to Paris (from Orlando)will cost about $500 roundtrip, the procedure about $200 and then the hotel - all together much more affordable than surgery here in the States. I will let you know what happens.

Best Regards, Traudl

Anyone going to Paris?

I sent an email to Dr.Lermusiaux yesterday to schedule an appointment for NA, hopefully in April. Has anyone been to France since Dr. Eaton brought the French needdle technique to the U.S.? Since the total costs for travel plus NA are identical between France and Florida (I live in Los Angeles), we're going to take a European vacation. Any thoughts or feedback welcome.

Thanks, Steven

Going to Paris

I went to Paris to see Dr.Lermusiaux in January. Same reasons you had (I live in Santa Cruz,CA). Paris is nicer in April, but our weather was ok. Dr.Lermusiaux is great. It's easy to take the train to his office. We liked staying in the left bank. If you stay there you need to change trains, but it is easy. Good luck and I hope you have as good results as I did. I am extremely pleased.

No contest - Paris

I'm flying to Paris tonight - have an appointment with Dr. L. next Thursday. Dr. Eaton is 40 miles down the road from me, but Paris is magical - need I say more. Kristen

Dupuytrens Contracture - Needle aponevrotomy

Dear Sir/Madam,

Can you please advise me email adress where to send my photos to organise for me Needle Aponevrotomy as my both hands are affected with Dupuytren's Disease. Here in Australia they don't have any procedures for this disease only surgery - however, I can only have surgery once when disease is spread so much that I won't be able to straighten my fingers at all. I am in constant pain and I would like to make appointment and of course possible treatment with needle aponevrotomy as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards,

Ana Hric
