Use of Collagenase

Is Collagenase being tested or used outside the USA? If so, what countries, clinics, Doctors are testing/using it? What trademarks is it being marketed under abroad?

Collagenase treatment in the UK

I'd be very interested to hear of any news concerning the availability of Collagenase treatment in the UK. If anyone discovers any useful info, I'd be happy to receive an email.

My Dupuytren's is on my right palm. It is getting worse, but at the moment very slowly. I sit on the back of my hand in the bath every day and that seems to be keeping my hand from curling up any more.

SITTING ON YOUR HAND

BE CAREFUL! I THOUGHT TRYING TO STRAIGHTEN MY FINGER WAS A GOOD IDEA, AND SEEMED TO BE HELPING, THEN MY DOCTOR SAID HES MADE IT COME OUT IN THE OPPOSITE HAND BY AGREVATING IT. I DONT KNOW. I JUST LEAVE MY PINKIE ALONE NOW.

Phase two results posted - now what?

I have noticed that a press release from BTC details the results of phase two of the trials. Everything still seems positive. Does anybody have any information and what is happening next? I am particularly keen to receive any information on any trials planned in Europe, as I am in the UK.

Non-Surgical Cure ?

Hope you can help!

I’m new to the Dupuytren's Forum, but not to Dupuytren's that showed up about 10 years ago. Had surgery on my left hand 2 years ago but Dupuytren's is now back in the L hand worse than ever. So I know from experience surgery is only a stopgap.

I know about the French Needle so I am very interested in info about non-surgical cures. Question:

1) Are there any legit non-surgical cures? Who and where?
2) Is the SUNY Stony Brook cure near going public? Any info on the status?
3) Are there any doctors (or anyone else) doing injections? Who and where?

Please help with any info you have. I don’t want any more surgery!

Thanks.

There is absolutely nothing happening with regard to Collagenase. See the post below, expressing enthusiasm about Phase II trials - it's now 6 years later and Phase III is, as always, scheduled to begin in a few months. Even if a miracle occurred and the trials did begin, they'll run for a year - then the FDA starts its grind - and maybe, some years later, it actually shows up on the market.

Forget about collagenase and go to one of the doctors doing NA.

It appears that the company sponsoring the trials now is publically stating they expect to begin Phase III trials this summer. Supposedly the FDA wanted the manufacturing process impoved vs what Biospecifics had done.
