qualifications

Dear Ervin/Jon

The only doctor in the US who has been trained in NA is Dr.Eaton (Florida), and the only doctor in Canada who has been trained in NA is Dr. Spacek (Canada). The list can be found at www.dupuytren.org.

1) Repeatedly pairing Dr. Eatons name with another Doctors name is not going to change who is on that list and who is *NOT*.

2) Trying to downplay the qualifications of the European doctors who do perform NA is certainly not going to change my mind that the list is unimportant.

I note that your email address and Jon's email address are the same style, and your writing technique is also the same style. Are you the same person? Are you a medical doctor?

I personally will not see anyone who is not on the list.
My hands are too precious for that. When I lay my hand down I want to know my doctor *is* qualified in NA and has the paperwork to prove it.

More Info re DC

...blasted computers...hit the post key by accident.

I was reading through the old messages and wanted to add to this topic but now that I think about it, everything has been said so I'll just add... I like the idea of a list too.

Your bridge playing friend,

Steve,

Here is more info on the subject. 4/5/2004 and the subsequent post by 'Arthur' are particularly interesting.
