Dr.Pess
Hi To All, I have just returned from NJ and DR.Pess [10/19/05] and now after twenty years I now have at least 90% of my right hand back and in good working order.I am so glad that I didn't listen to my doctor, this was so simple I just could not beleive it ,the whole thing was done in less then twenty min and I am now typing this with both of my hands,I'm on top of the world and I feel great,I will have to use a splint on my right pinkie for about a month but only at night and I can handle that.THANK YOU DR.PESS Regards to all John

Welcome to the Club
John,
Congratulations on your new lifetime membership into the "I discovered NA" Club!! Unfortunately, club admittance is still very difficult for most people. Most of the newly diagnosed *do* listen to their doctors and undergo what may be needless surgery. If you haven't already, you might want to consider educating your doctor. There's nothing quite like a good live Before and After to turn a few more heads. Unlike a lot of Clubs, ours is as nonexclusive as possible. We'll take just anybody :-)
Again, Congrats.

Medical Profession
A few days ago I listioned to a radio interview of two Australian physicians who were awarded the Nobel Medical prize for their discovery that stomach ulcers were caused by bacteria NOT STRESS. Basically the medical profession had always considered micro-organisms could not survive in the gut. Their find was met with sceptism for years. These two Drs went on to say that their discovery was poo hooed by the profession because they had found a simple cheap and effective (antibiotics), to cure this ailment and there would be a huge loss of income for these physicians. Can you believe that these two men were ostrasized by their peers because of financial considerations. To prove their point of the discovery one of these Drs inoculated himself with these bacteria and gave himself an ulcer. He cured his condition very quickly with a regime of antibiotics. It took twenty years to prove their point and now millions of people are being treated this way. I hope it wont take twenty years for NA treatment to be fully accepted.
