I had NA by Dr. Pess on May 18. He was very personable and had a good sense of humor. I have had a nodule below my right ring finger for years. Just ten days before, the finger started to bend, 20 degrees. It is now straight. He cut the cord in 2 places and injected some cortisone. The original nodule, which was very large is now almost gone. All the dimpling is gone, but nodules seem to have moved up the finger. I got on the table at 1:23 and was in the car on my way back to Ohio at 3:00 o'clock. He did not think he could help my left pinky which is 90 degrees, but would be willing to try. This appeared 8 years ago after a broken wrist. I had taken an Alpha Lipoic Acid supplement this year. Since that increases collagen, I wonder if that activated the Dupuytren. Good luck ! ! Natalie

Dr. Pess performed the NA procedure on my hand in May. Although I have not had the NA procedure previously, I feel the outcome was very good. The cord was in my palm, which pulled my pinky to about a 90 degree angle. Although my hand still cannot be placed flat on a surface, it is much better and my pinkie is straight. I had a large nodule at the base of my pinkie, which also has softened and become smaller. Unless you knew I had DC, you would never notice it! Dr. Pess was thoughtful and promptly personally replied to my questioned post NA.
