Nada

I'm not done experimenting with Aldara, but so far I can't report anything significant.

Update

I'm still using Aldara, and think the nodule is smaller. Will keep using for a few more weeks to see if it disappears.

any progress?

I am just wondering whether anyone is still using Aldara and whether there was any effect (except cost).

Aldara update

I have one nodule that is now very small. I don't know if it will ever disappear completely, so I stopped taking the Aldara about 3 weeks ago. If it gets any worse I will try taking it again. I am also taking Acretyl-L-Carnitine, Paba 500, and a B-complex supplement, so it's hard to know what is actually working. All I know is that my nodule has decreased in size since I started taking Aldara and my protruding cords have disappeared. I was taking the other supplements before I started with Aldara. I also haven't been playing as much tennis in the last couple of months. Hope this helps.

how long?

Linda, thanks for the update. That sounds like progress for you, doesn't it? And it might indicate that the cream can helps at least a little bit. How long did you apply Aldara in total and how did you apply it? Daily, how much, massaging it into the skin? Many questions, but interesting.

update

Wolfgang,
Yes, I feel like I've made great progress. I used Aldara 5% cream, about 1 packet a week, for a little over 3 months, applying a small amount nightly and massaging it on the nodule. I will be in China next week and will see if I can get it any cheaper there. Will report back.

Aldara

I have some Aldara left over from skin cancer. I had NA with Dr. Denkler on August 22. Is it okay to wear splint over it? I thought someone said that Aldara should not be covered. PIP joint is still swollen, numbness on tip of finger is gone, finger bent about 35%. Thanks for any advice.
