    Terry which doctor are you going to ?? and do they speak english if you phone them ?? and have they replied in much detail I sent a couple of photos and got a reply with the address and how to get to Dr Lermusiaux so I am assuming that I just make an appointment via telephone ?? cheers David

    Hi,
    If Dr Lermusiaux has sent you details of how to get to his rooms then he will feel he can treat you.
    He speaks excellent english but is not there all the time as he is a consultant at the Laraboisiere hospital in Paris. He does have someone to answer the phone but they do not speak english.
    He is very good at fitting people in when they request a certain date but he is very busy at present so you should aim for a couple of months hence. Email him as a reply to remind him of who you are ( without the attachment of course )
    Are you going to have a holiday in Paris? How long will you stay.

    Hi David,
    I have sent an email with pics but had nor reply so far, but like mMrjorie states, the good Dr is busy. His replies indicate he does not converse too well in English.

    I think you just need to keep trying and make an appointment well in advance.

    As soon as I know something I'll let you know.

    I have traveled from Brisbane to Paris twice to see Dr Lermusiaux. On both occasions I found that emailing him a date range of when I would be in Paris resulted in a speedy reply confirming an appointment time and date. I'm assuming the "I will be in Paris between.... " gets you to the top of the list .

    By the way, NA rules!!!

    Hi Colin how are you? I also visited Dr L Sept 05, very happy with the results although not perfect but a huge improvement , I could put my hands in my pockets for the first time in years. Cost for my procedure was $140. I will be going back next year as my right hand is now affected. Colin gave me some very good advice before I left for Paris.

    Dr L's email is definite. I do not know if Dr B has changed his recently but if you cut and paste the following web page you will find details of all the practitioners in Europe

    I know that both doctors are inundated with requests for treatment at present. Dr L is spending half a day a week just dealing with emails.

    Hi David,
    Hope your trip to Europe is good. March is maybe a little early if you want good weather. Paris is worth a few days visit. Trains are good if you want to go further afield.
    I note that a couple of your countrymen have been to Paris and have provided their emaill addresses. Maybe they could give you info on what to do and where to go.
