Hyperbaric treatment & Dupuytrens/Ledderhoses
Hi Liam,
There is a thread entitled 'For British Patients' it talks about NICE which recognizes what we call NA. Further posts indicate that travel to another country such as Paris might possibly be covered under your medical plan - but - you will have to check this out for yourself to see if it is true. If it is - and you are successful - could you please post the results so other Brit patients know about it?
Thanks Anon

Hyperbaric treatment & Dupuytrens/Ledderhoses
Liam -
Lose your finger, from Dupuytren's surgery? If all you have is a 30 degree contracture due to Dupuytren's and no other illness, you should never see this physician again. My experience with a hand surgeon where I live is that he was completely ignorant of NA - how it is done, the incidence of nerve damage, comparative recovery times, etc. A 30 degree contracture is modest and should be easily corrected in an outpatient procedure.
Steve
