Thanks for the report. It just goes to show that everyone is different and results vary from hand to hand. I wish you the best of luck with surgery. It's your turn (for some luck).
NA has the drawback of not being effective in all cases. On top of that, the joint that is the most difficult is the PIP of the little finger (second knuckle as you say). This is true for invasive surgery as well. Personally, should my disease persist, I will always try NA first, and always have it done *before* a contraction goes past 35 degrees. Open Invasive Surgery is generally put off until 45 degrees.
