Tell your family doctor about NA
Just a suggestion. After a visit to my family doctor yesterday, I showed him my hand and told him of my recent, successful NA operation by Dr. Eaton. Of course, he was clueless about the procedure and seemed surprised at the straightness of my hand and the explanation that the procedure was done in 30 minutes with no pain or ill effects. I also told him of Dr. Denkler who is in our area -- Calif. Hopefully, he will look into this, convince himself of the procedure's efficacy, and suggest it to his patients with Dupuytrens.

After hearing the many stories of closed-minded doctors on this forum I'm actually surprised at the semi-positive reactions that I've received. When I first told my primary care physician about NA his response was basically, "sounds good to me".
About a year before my 2-11-05 successful NA with Dr. Eaton I talked to the surgeon who replaced my mom's hip. He looked at my bent fingers as I explained NA and said, "it seems to make sense".
I played golf with a surgeon here in the L.A. area just before I e-mailed the pics to Eaton to make the appointment. He seemed very interested in the concept and said to make sure to ask Eaton if he's sure that a needle can penetrate the nasty looking area below the pinky and ring finger.
I sent the before-after pics of my NA to my CHS and he wrote back to say that he has since contacted Dr. Eaton for more information. A few weeks ago I went back to this CHS at Eaton's recommedation to have the nodule injected again. I gave him the Dr. Denkler news clip and some of the messages on this forum and he seems very open to all of it. I actually heard him diagnose an 80 year old Scotsman's (complete with a brrrr) DD. He mentioned the risk of anesthesia to someone that age and the small possibility of amputation. Unfortunately, he wasn't ready to mention the guy in the next room recently went thru an alternative called NA.
