I've had both NA and Xiaflex--but which to use again?

On my left hand, which been dupuytrens free until now, the middle finger shows the begining of a contracture. I'm posting here for advice as which treatment to pursue: NA or Xiaflex. I've had both already, as I'll relate below.

Duputrens first manifested in the littele finger of my right had almost ten years ago. I had the fasciectomy which corrected it. It came back, extending down into the palm. I had a second fasciectomy, the recovery from which was much worse than the first, but normal for a procedure of that size. It came back a third time. I had NA on the palm, which released that cord, but NA could not be used further up on the finger because of the mass of scar tissue due to the prior surguries. It came back a fourth time, and two xiflex injections took care forst teh cord in the palm and the the one in the finger.

So it's starting in my left had, this time in the middle finger. I haven't been to the doctor about this yet. I think I can feel one cord in the finger and another in the palm. Any and all feedback and comments on the relative merits will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Eric

Re: I've had both NA and Xiaflex--but which to use again?

Have you investigated the possibility and pro's and con's of radiotherapy since it sounds like you are in the early stages without contraction?

To answer the question you asked, I think a skilled surgeon familiar with both NA and Xiaflex and disease progression, can advise you which treatment might be most appropriate for your specific presentation of the condition.
