I am wondering if people have found any benefit with low level laser therapy? I've seen prior posts but no following up with this lead... thanks, cureall
Yes I was intrigued by that post from Dirk, but wasn't sure if it was a genuine user experience or some clever spam; with apologies now to Dirk if it was the former.
Like you I would welcome other user experience with some before and after sort of proof on the benefits, or otherwise.

Hi, just posted this somewhere else on the forum:
"Hi, am using the Vityas, mentioned here on the forum. I can't tell you yet if it is delivering the goods, because I just started using it and it will be even difficult to pinpoint what is/will be working, as I am using it in combination with a handheld ultrasound device (Ultralieve Pro), an acupuncture device, massage, supplements, enzymes, the omegas (flax seed and fish oil), essential oils, diet etc. All to adjust/boost the immune system and reduce what ever inflammation might lurk in the body :-).
I had good results when a nature-path was treating my hands in combination with ultra sound and various supplements. Some of the nodules in my left hand disappeared altogether, others became dormant. Also acupuncture worked really well. (if interested I can try to explain the needle location) Unfortunately because of travels and relocation I had to discontinue and the nodules started growing again, cords becoming more prominent. So I decided to go back on this shot gun approach for 2 - 4 months. If this doesn't work, I will go for RT.
In response to Dirk: I would be interested in knowing the acupuncture points used in your treatment; i.e.; were they local to the nodule; surrounding the nodule; piercing the nodule; etc. Also, I assume you have tried the laser therapy. If so, what were your results?

Hi John,
Yes, mainly perpendicular into the nodules, 2 -3 needles in the larger one, 1 -2 in the smaller ones. I went 3 times per week, about 45 mins per session. Sometimes a needle from the side, a kind of parallel to the surface of the hand. Virtually no manipulation, sometimes a little twist. Sometimes higher up the arm and/or in the lower leg(s). The moment of insertion straight into the nodules painful, afterwards ok. After the needles were removed the the assistant would massage the nodules by digging in with the thumbnails. Also I was given to use a wooden massage roller to use at home. I kept the regimen up for about 2 months with very good results, nodules getting smaller, especially the one in my left hand. Unfortunately I had to leave Kathmandu where I was receiving the treatment and now the condition is worsening again.
I have been using the laser now for about a week. My hands have improved a lot, nodules getting smaller, typical yellowish, orange colour gone, all looking healthy pink. Can't say if it is the laser as I am using also ultra sound, enzymes, vitamins, DMSO, Vit. E oil, the lot. Not easy, time consuming and the body had some reactions to possibly the DMSO and/or the enzymes. Things seem to have balanced out now. A good "side effect": much more energy online
