Re: How long

I have found this Forum
and I have found my Treatment:

At Alfried Krupp Krankenhaus Essen
there is a Doctor who has treated
the Ledderhose Disease of my then
9-year old boy who had progressed
rapidly 3 months after the first
surgery. The doctor was very
careful and made an appointment
with another surgeon in Bochum.
But he refused and said the first
surgery was already a failure.

So we got 5 x radiation to the foot
the nodules regressed over 50% - no
pain anymore and full function.

Meanwhile my son is 16 years old, fully
grown, the nodules then about 5 x 6cm
are now about 2 x 3cm, but without
bothering the daily activities ...

Most interestingly 2 years after my son
was diagnosed with Ledderhose I recognized
Dupuytren in my hands. Clearly, I got
radiation and I have no problems so far.

Re: How long

I find this VERY impressive because obviously the growth of the Ledderhose nodules was stopped while the growth of the feet was NOT affected. Well done and congratulations to your son!
