Re: My experience with Plantar Fibromas
Gary1987: Hi,
Yeah I realised that the chances of developing cancer in somewhere like the foot is rare. I was just interested in knowing the kind of doses that are used. Of course replicating cells in culture are going to be much more sensitive to radiation that the cells sitting in the foot.
Thanks for the info
Gary

I've heard that the surgical excision has a high degree of recurrence and sometimes causes a situation of tumor or even cancer. One of my friend used verapamil gel and said that its slow but has perfect results. The only problem being its high price, which is unaffordable for many. But I'm not finding much information about it from anywhere and hence uncertain about its effectiveness. Is this get treatment, always a successful one? Can it be opted over the surgical excision?

Re: My experience with Plantar Fibromas
I wouldn't say that the success of Verapamil is guaranteed, it rather seems to be an exception http://www.dupuytren-online.info/dupuytren_anecdotal.html. You can also search this forum using the Search function on the left menu.
