NA doctor in Texas
I had the NA procedure in Feb 2012 by Dr Eaton-it was very successful and so easy. I need to have the procedure done again on the palm of the same hand. I would love to find a doctor in Texas who uses the French technique like Dr eaton used. Can anyone recommend a doctor? I actually would go anywhere in the US for a successful procedure. I'd appreciate any info. Thank you!

Re: NA doctor in Texas
I am unfortunately not getting any feedback on anyone who has used a doctor in Texas who learned the NA procedure from Dr Eaton. Has anyone had it successfully done in Texas or anywhere else?

Re: NA doctor in Texas
Tusk, Thank you for the info. I did see this list of doctors and found the 3 Texas doctors who visited Dr Eaton's office and observed the NA procedure under him. When I called all 3, I found out that 2 of the 3 Texas doctors listed don't do the procedure anymore. Susan Adler has apparently retired and David Green's office told me he doesn't do the procedure but another doctor in his office does. So interesting enough that only leaves the one doctor in Houston David Hildreth. Has anyone had the NA procedure with him? It appears he might have more than one Texas office...Would love any input. Thank you!

Re: NA doctor in Texas
I think you would be okay with a doctor who wasn't trained under Eaton. As long as they do as fair number of the procedures and are otherwise a reputable hand surgeon I personally wouldn't have a problem. There are some other docs who went to France and learned it direct and others who learned NA from the original learners and other sources. It is not a complicated procedure for a CHS. But I understand you want the best if you can get it and the perception would be that Eaton trained is very good.

Re: NA doctor in Texas
Would collagenase injections be a viable option in your case? I have located a local doctor who is proficient in open fasciectomy, NA and Xiaflex injections. He has recommended the Xiaflex in my case over the other two options. Just trying to sort out the advantages/disadvantages of the three options.

I would not recommend just any Dr. trying NA...Eaton was the best, and some of those he trained are good, I started with Dr. Eaton 15 years ago and had great success, I went to him 3 or 4 times with always positive results..Then after h e closed his practive I tried a surgeon who did not train with Dr. eaton, and it was a disaster..Subsequently I found dr in Houston who was trained by dr. Eaton, and he was pretty good Good luck

Dr. Hildreth, at Richmond Bone & Joint Clinc trained by Dr. Eaton, does NA
