Re: NA experience by Australian Users
Dr Badois did my NA in 2007, and he speaks excellent English, and fixing three fingers on my right hand took 25 mins. I'm in Perth, and may need to go again within a year, unless a more "local" option comes up.

Re: NA experience by Australian Users
I am very sad to hear that Dr Lermusiaux has retired. He treated my little finger 3 years ago, and I was delighted with how simple and effective it was. It took about 15 minutes, and I think it cost about 70 Euros. There was no discussion about being too young, or difficulties about it being in the PIP joint. He mentioned that the procedure could be repeated and after 3 years that does need to happen. It would certainly be easier to have it done in Australia, but from my reading here, I wonder whether the practitioners here may not be quite as experienced. Has anybody seen another doctor in France? Jude

Re: NA experience by Australian Users
Dear All Australian Dupers,
Has anyone had a NA treatment by Dr Dilley in Sydney recently? If so, please could you report on your degree of satisfaction with same. I had a fantastic experience with Dr Lermusiaux in Paris 2.5 years ago, but now I need a top up but would like to avoid the trip to Paris to see one of Dr L's colleagues at the moment.
Kind Regards,
BrianL

Hi BrianL,
I have not had the treatment from him, but I probably will. I saw him in Sydney about 6 months ago but my finger had not progressed badly enough to proceed. He seemed o.k. to me. I also was going to go to Paris, but will probably go to Dr. Dilley instead. My contracture is moving very slowly, so I suspect it will be at least another 6 months before I need it done. Keep me in the loop if you get it done by him. I will do the same.
Regards, BrianC

Re: NA experience by Australian Users
Hi People
Ive had DC for about 5 years now
My pinky on my right hand is about 45 degrees contracted Now starting to interfere with work (Art Edition Printer/ Artist), and with sailing and handy stuff
I made an appointment with Dr David Dilley in Sydney today for the 18th August 2011
Hopefully after consultation he will perform NA
No way will i get surgery !!
My younger brother ( i am 45), has had most of his fingers removed by a surgeon in Newcastle.
Because i will be travelling from Darwin Dr has pre arranged consultation and NA on the same day ( if Appropriate)
I first got some details from DR on line, as follows
Consultation $200 or $170 if paid on the day
NA $380 per finger ( if cord is not too attached to the skin )
Stay Positive Cheers Andy
