peyronie's disease post op pain

Dear all,

Good to be a part of the forum. I think peyronie's disease is covered in the remit - hope I got that right?

I am 11 weeks post Peyronies plication operation (done in China one of the top guys in China for this op apparently). It certainly worked in the sense of straightening but night time errections still v painful, nowhere close to regaining the option of sex with my wife, even flaccid penis feels bruised (but nothing visual to see as an issue). Can anyone confirm this normal. Will this likely simply get better if I remain patient. Worried it would be ages to get an appetite a specialist while back here in the UK in any case. Thx for any advice or reassurance!

Chris

Re: peyronie's disease post op pain

Hi Chris

We don't get many posts on here for Peyronies. It is covered by the British Dupuytrens Society who also have a FB page that includes 'related conditions'; and there is an unrelated dedicated Peyronies FB group too, maybe several.

I can't comment from experience but had a TURP many years ago for BPH and recall that took maybe 4 months before everything was working again. If an NHS appointment might take a while, can you get/afford a private urologist consultation?

Best wishes SB
