800$ per drop
That's the U.S. cost of xiaflex at the moment....four drops per syringe. If you add the doctor and hospital fees, the total cost is about 1000$ drop. Still cheaper than surgery.
It appears that the dose amount is set. So, if you need more than the 4 drops, out comes another .250mL syringe. I had one syringe worth in one cord in my thumb webbing, but another thumb cord was left for another day, another injection.
Anyone had an experience with larger doses given all at once?

Comparison of costs ...
Multiply by 20 digital joints and repeat it once per year - a wonderful billing machine - Invest in Stocks of this pharmaceutical company ... !
Early treatment and prevention of the disease is much cheaper, the whole hand only for 1.500 USD = 1.000 Euro if you give radiation therapy !
The dull citizen thinks: Expensive must be better ... If you pay more, the treatment MUST be better, REALLY ???
