I was recently diagnosed with DD following a minor wrist fracture that resulted in carpel tunnel surgery. Asked doc at follow up visit what the hard lumps were on my palm ( I assumed swelling from the surgery) and he diagnosed me with DD with the comment not to worry about it. He said it almost never progresses. Well, I did my research after noticing the beginning of a cord in my pinkie and palm and some more little nodules. Have an appt at Univ of Alabama (listed on this web site) and was wondering if anyone has had experience with RT therapy there? Being proactive as other treatments described make me light headed!! Thanks for any input.
