DC

Have not heard of the new serum. Where is your doctor located. I had discoved having DC a litte over a year ago in my right palm. Had surgery because they thought it was a cyst. I also have had two cortisone shots. They didnt seem to do very much. I occasionally have pain in my hand but the dc has seemed to subsided for now. Still have a lump and some occasional pain. In my twenties, and it seems that people who develope this early have more problems. Its kind of scary thinking i might have more of these and other problems associated with this disease. Im tyring to keep some hope that something will happen for better treatment for this condition. I hope this may have some good benefits. Let me know if you hear any more info about this serum.
take care

Fibrinolysin and collagenase.

I think it likely that the doctor was using a different
term (-lyse) to refer to the BTC process (-ase.) Connective
tissue consists or components that include collagen fibers.
One might use terms inexactly to refer to a general process
of "loosening" connective tissue. Imagine changing ice
into water. I say heat it; you say melt it. Unless the
technology is different (stove/microwave) we may be talking
about the same process using different terms. Perhaps someone else has better insight; I am guessing.

not this year

If the doctor was referring to Collagenase then I question the statement about FDA approval this year. That's not going to happen for Collagenase, even if Biospecifics stays in business - which is questionable at this point.
