Has anyone experienced?

I was diagnosed with Dupuytrens a year ago in my left hand. The nodule appeared 2 years ago when I was 55; now I have two nodules. I am a left handed female. I am experiencing more and more tinglng sensations, low grade pain/ache and what appears to be a thickening in my lower left arm from my elbow forward. My hand of course feels like it has doubled in size. When I wake up in the middle of the night my arm feels like millions of threads getting tighter and tighter.
Is this normal for this disease?

Pain from DC

Susan,
No, it is not normal. Normal is that there is no pain or very little associated with DC. There are some people however, that do experience degrees of pain.
While the cord was developing in my hand, I felt a different sensation but I would not call it pain.
