just had NA...

I just had NA with Dr. Eaton. It worked great and one cord released 3 fingers to full extension. Now that the local anesthetic has worn off, I have some aches at the points of the needle incisions in the palm as though the hand doesn't want to completely flattten out. Do those go away with time? Thanks. I'd do this agin...great experience overall with the procedure and Dr.

ACHES

SOUNDS LIKE IT MAY BE NORMAL TO ME... YOUR HAND HAS BEEN THROUGH SOME TRAMA... GO TO DR. EATON'S WEB SITE.... HE HAS A TON OF INFO THERE. WWW.HANDCENTER.COM....MY HANDS SOMETIMES ACHE SOMETIMES DON'T... DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH I USE THEM....GARDENING , ETC. GOOD LUCK....KEEP YOUR BRACE ON AT NIGHT....I KNOW WHEN I FIRST STARTED USING BRACE MY HANDS ACHED A LITTLE......THEN I DIDN'T WEAR IT FOR 2 WEEKS..I HAVE NOW PUT IT BACK ON AND WILL LEAVE IT ON...AS I CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE....IT SEEMS LIKE TO OLD TISSUE WANTS TO PULL FINGER BACK DOWN IF BRACE IS NOT WORN... SO, I WILL JUST HAVE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND RE TRAIN MY HAND.....

post NA recovery

I had a reaction like yours Steve. Everything worked out fine. My NA with Dr. Eaton was 16 months ago. My fingers are still straight.

Dr. Eaton~sq~s Web site

I had NA from Dr. Eaton in February. I also had the same reaction in my hand. Even though I was doing my hand exercise (opening and closing a fist), it felt like it was pulling. And my palm was itching like mad. I emailed Dr. E's office and was told this was normal. I continued to open and close my fist and in time the pain and pulling sensation has ceased. My fingers are still straight and no pain or sensation at all.
