I have early onset symptoms of DC. I am hesitant to go to the ortho hand surgeon I was referred to after having read a lot of info. on the internet. Should I wait for the cologenase injections at the end of the phase III trails, etc. Is NA a good alternative? Should I just go to the ortho surgeon for a consultation only? Will he be "cut happy"? Will he try to scare me into the surgery when not necessary? If anyone out there has talked to any experts in the Washington DC area, I would greatly appreciate any names, etc.
