trial and cure

Linda,
I don't believe anyone here has forgotten about trial and cure. Most of us have watched this site for over a year...praying for someone to show up in the .U.S.
I for one am extremely gratefull..
You cannot blame Dr. Eaton for the condition of your hands, as you had previous surgery...You cannot blame DR. Eaton for charging a fee. I am sorry you do not have medicare...I am sorry that I had to fly from California to FLorida and save and spend monry for the trip..BUT..DAMN GLAD EATON WAS THERE!!!!!
DO NOT DISCOURAGE NEW PEOPLE..unless you want them in the same situation you are in...
Dr. Eaton's office is working 10 and 11 hrs. a day....
Lean on the medical community that hasn't done anything about doing D.C.....NON INVASIVE PROCEDURE....
The office personnel cannot always give you all of the answers......they are not trained physicians......they do not have ESP.
Sorry.....about the lecture..but you are doing yourself and others more harm than good. IMO

Just back

Hi all,
I'm just back from having Dr. Eaton straighten me out. Thursday morning was the appointment and today, Saturday,I'm using my hand with very little soreness! The procedure was 45 minutes and about as incomfortable as a tooth being filled. I chatted with the doctor and his nurse the entire time, and I usually have a weak stomach for needles. He freed up 3 badly bent fingers, that had looked like I was clutching a baseball. I can lay my hands flat on the table now!!!The procedure with a splint cost less than $2000. Compare that with my first surgery on my little finger costing $8000 and they only paid 80%. $1600 and 3 months of therapy later. I had a scarred leathery finger with only a couple numb spots. And that was considered sucessful.
This is off season in Florida. My trip down from NC cost $500 in gas, hotels(3 nites), and food. I stayed on the beach, enjoyed the Tiki bars, and relaxed. That is certainly better than, fasting before surgery, throwing up after you come to, and then 6 months of therapy trying to recover use of your filleted hand. I am so thankful for Dr. Eaton. He recreated a small miracle in less than an hour, that nature had slowly robbed me of for years. I am forever singing his praises. Just my humble opinion and experience. Good luck to whatever road you choose. Bill
