Announcement of Dr. Paul Zidel, M.d.

I wrote to the readers of the Forum about the newest addition to The Hand Center in Jupiter, Florida. Dr. Eaton announced the expansion of The Hand Center and the addition of his colleague, Paul Zidel, M.D........the second Paris Trained Board Certfied Hand Surgeon trained in the NA procedure for Dupuytrens. You can reach him at The Hand Center 561-746-7686 in Jupiter, Fl.

Please click on the TOPIC on the Forum,
"You asked for it! You got it"....for the whole announcement.

Also, please click on the TOPIC on the Forum"Treatment by Dr. Eaton" and the entry dated 10/12/04 gives some additional information on insurances and the fact the Dr. Zidel may be on a different list of insurance companies which may motivate some to get their hands fixed!

Both sites may give you some additional worthwhile information!

For now, Hopes up! Hands Down!

Dr. Zidel not listed on Dr. Badois~sq~ web site

Dr. Zidel is not on the list of approved practitioners of NA on Dr. Badois' web site. Is this just an oversight? If so, it should be corrected.

Dr. Zidel approved list on that web site

I asked the office manager about just that thing when she advised the addition of Dr. Zidel. She advised that their office is not involved in any of the other websites...only their own; however, I have seen the certificate of training for Dr. Zidel by the Paris group....perhaps you should inquire of them (the Paris group)and ask for an update. I am sure they also are very busy with the pressures of a practice. I would be interested in any outcome.

Thanks for the info

Dear Barb,

Thanks for posting this info. More trained NA practioners are what we need - particularly during this time when there is little knowledge of NA and no legislation protecting it - or should I say...protecting DC patients.

response to Frances

Frances:
You are more than welcome..I can only share what I know..and I am happy to share..whatever it is that I know or learn!
You seem to be diligent in your monitoring of this site..and kudos to you too! I think sometimes those of us who have been on this site for a while forget that there are always new people coming on board ! If you sat to review all the old postings..I am sure it would take a while. So, while it may be boring for some to hear some of the news that may seem to duplicate what they know...I advocate a little patience for the "newbies" as we were once one as well!

Thanks for your patience and participation. Just as Randy H. said...you are the people who are going to make this thing work! I am glad you are a steady reader!

Hopes up! Hands down!

Updated Site: www.dupuytrens-a-new-theory.com

I just had my second session after three months with Dr. Eaton. Initially the contracture of my pinkie was Stage IV,but first corrected to 85 degrees. Now after the second NA, is down to 45 degrees.

Dr Eaton performs NA exclusively three times a week and Dr Zigel once per week at the Hand Clinic in Jupiter. Both doctors are hand surgeons and both received their training in Paris while there at the same time.
