cryotherapy
Has anyone had cryotherapy done for their ledderhose? I have Dups on one hand and recently had a successful NA procedure on my pinkie PIP contracture.
I have had one medium size nodule on the bottom of one foot, and have recently noticed that another nodule has grown right next to it....I am lucky that it doesn't cause problems for walking, so far...and it doesn't hurt...I just know its there when I touch it...
My DPM has told me to leave alone, which I have done, but I want to be prepared in case it starts acting up, because I definetely want to avoid painful surgery when it does.
Any thoughts on the matter? Thanks

cryotherapy
Hi Luba, just in case you haven't found it yet: there is a patient's report on cryotherapy at http://www.dupuytren-online.info/other_therapies.html. In the mean time another patient has reported about this therapy (results basically similar but initially less happy). We will include her comments soon.

cryotherapy
Thanks Wolfgang....for your reply. I checked out the website and it appears from the pictures that the nodules on the patients referenced on the website are "much larger" than mine. I will stick with the opinion of my DPM to leave it alone since my nodules are still small and do not hurt.
Its good to stay informed for now....this forum has been great in that respect, and I will always be grateful to it for helping me find information which led to successful NA procedure for my PIP contracture.

another cryo patient
The notes of Judy after her recent cryotherapy are now included on the Dupuytren e.V. web site (http://www.dupuytren-online.info/Cryotherapy.htm). Personally I agree with you: as long as your Ledderhose nodules don't cause strong pain I wouldn't touch them either. Only radiotherapy is a good option for early treatment but it obviously hard to find in the US.
Good luck to you
Wolfgang
