DC and golf

I was recently diagnosed with DC affecting the pinky finger on my right hand. This was probably triggered by a somewhat severe cut on the palm of my hand a couple of years ago. I now have a small amount of scar tissue and another lump from DC. I haven't had any problems with it affecting my golf game, other than occasional soreness in the area. I think that this is just from the fact that the area is raised on my hand and gets more pressure, but could this affect the DC? Could this make it worse? If so, any suggestions for prevention? I am right handed, so it is my bottom hand on the club. Any info would be appreciated.
thanks,
peter

good question

HI Peter,

I'm not sure if it was this forum or another but...I believe a number of the dc patients around here us a high-end make of glove that has a gel insert which cushions the palm nicely but does not interfere with the game. Apparently the gel is not is the same spot for all makes so consider checking back for an answer before you buy.

Good luck,

Frances
