Randy,
My LDL level have always been normal (~130) & I have Dups. Also, the Dups mortality studies show no increased risk of dying from cardiovascular disease, which one would expect if there were a link between Dups and high LDL.
And really, what could you expect to show from an informal internet survey? After all my agonizing about mortality issues, I realize that all we can do is wait for the research guys to sort things out.

Dear Micheal,
I beg to differ. We found out about the correlation between dc and glucosamine from posters on this website.
We also found out that dc is not necessarily unusual at an early age.

I have fairly severe DC and low cholesterol. Haven't seen anything credible about a connection with high cholesterol.
