dupuytren~sq~s and carpal tunnel symdrom

Two years ago I had a carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand. Three months after the surgery I developed lumps in the palm of my hand. I pointed it out to my doctor and was told it was "just one of those things". Last April I had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand and three months later I noticed the same type of lumps appearing on that hand. During this time the lumps on my left hand have grown and have been diagnoised as Dupuytren's. I had no signs of these lumps before I had the carpal tunnel surgery on either hand and both appeared within three months of that surgery. It is too coincidental that these lumps appeared three months after having carpal tunnel surgery. I have no history of anyone in my family having Dupuytren's. I believe the Dupuytren's is a result of having this surgery. Has anyone else experienced the appearance of Dupuytren's after having carpal tunnel surgery?

Nodule or band?

yes, but in my case it was first frozen shoulder, then dupuytren's in right hand and now carpal tunnel. from other people on this site's remarks it does seem as if there may be a connection between these things.
