Going to FLA next week

Hi,
I was diagnosed with DC in April. I thought I was going in to get some scar tissue removed from my right hand due to a broken hand. It didn't really bother me that much until I found out I had a disease. ughhhh. At the time of the diagnosis I was in shock, the surgeon recomended the open surgery, and i was like...yea, get this thing out of me. However his office has never gotten back to me to this day.

Thank God I found this forum. I just called Dr. Eaton's office today, and thanks to a cancelation I have an appointment next week.

I may stay a few days in West Palm Beach,, I mean why not!
If anyone has any tips on things to do, places to stay, places to eat, etc... let me know.

I will let you all know how things went when I get back.
Thanks to all posters. Wish me luck ;-)

16 days and counting.

Sorry, meant to type more in the message. I'm in the same boat....we are all so fortunate to have found this forum. I scheduled my apt. in Aug. for the end of Oct. so I could go see Dr.Eaton without taking time off work. I am now SO anxious to go that I really wish I hadn't waited...just hope medically, it didn't hurt. I am having one hand done on Friday and one on Monday. (I was warned that they will be wearing Halloween costumes!) Anyway, be sure to post when you get back.

No Regrets..Just Happy

Hi Sherry and Dano,
You will not regret your decision to have Dr. Eaton do NA on your hand. I had mine done last week and it was like a miracle. My hand is flat the first time in 12 years. I can do things I could not do before. And the procedure is almost painless, just the needle sting at first. And then you are so amazed at the results. Best of luck to you both!!!

Things to do after 2...

Sorry for double post; hit enter instead of tab. Dr. Eaton is terrific, saw him in May '04 for NA. Left his office with an ice pack in one hand and the steering wheel in the other, and drove staight to Key West for a couple of days... we ended up staying for 5 days! Hit SoBe on the way back for 2 days, then flew back to SoCal. So basically, if you haven't been to Key West, go, unless you don't like to party, dive, or appreciate tropical paradises.
