Ledderhose~sq~s & orthotics
I have had DC for about 10 years now. I am now having increasing problems with my feet. I have found a pea sized growth on both tendons on the sole of my instep. My socks feel like they are bunched up under my toes. Getting more painful to walk, feet sore at the end of the day. I want to explore all I can about resources and possible remidies. Questions that I have:
Is the tingling in my feet a symptom of my LD? What forums are out there that deal specifically with LD What orthodonics/special shoes have worked for LD patients Plus any other advice LD patients have for "relief".

Ledderhose~sq~s & orthotics
I have had DC (left hand) for about 5 years and LD appeared in left foot about 2 years ago - the bunched sock feeling you describe although I describe it as a cramp feeling in 3rd/4th toes - and more recently feeling it in right foot. Early this year I saw Orthopedic surgeon who confirmed LD (via ultra sound) & sent me to podiatrist. The surgeon does not operate unless it is not manageable via other means. Podiatrist prescribed fitted orthotics (orthodontics are for your teeth - I have those too - foot & mouth disease I think it must be).
The orthotics are to straighten the gait in my walk and stop the pressure that the poor gait was applying to the LD. Get prescription ones made and they can allow for the nodules and remove any direct pressure.
6 months on - is it working? I can walk with less pain. I feel it constantly but would describe it as discomfort with occasional pain. But every time I put my foot on the ground I feel it, so in that sense it is heaps worse than the mild case of DC I have. I have bought all new shoes with rubber soles and soft inners (Ecco, Rockport, Timberland are all good). Better if they have a heel. Can't walk in bare feet.
I'd really like to know if anybody has had LD treated with NA.
