*(N.A. is a minimally invasive outpatient procedure for Dupuytrens which effectively breaks the cords which cause contraction of the fingers, thereby releasing them. The procedure has been available in France for many years with an excellent safety record and was introduced in the U.S. in 2003 by Dr. Charles Eaton. Since then a number of other doctors have begun offering N.A. to their patients as an alternative to open hand surgery.)
Drs. Eaton, Kline and others have informative websites (see below). Dr. Eaton's site contains some information which is more technical and Dr. Kline's own experience with Dupuytrens adds a personal touch.)

You had a list of doctors doing NA and I am trying to get this approved for my insurance- can you tell me how you secured this list- looking for something official so I can prove no one nearby or in my network so we can have Eaton do it. Thanks for your help

I have now read much on Dupuytren's contracture (Which i have in 2 fingers on my right and leading hand).
I find this N/A a much better idea than the conventional operation which my grandmother had 35 years ago and which was offered to me 7 years ago.I had hoped for some change in 2 generations.
N/A was concieved 20 years ago in France and although it has taken to the states i cannot find anywhere in the U.K i can get it done.Must i travel to France.If anyone knows of the practise in the U.K please let me know.
The hooking effect i was lead to expect by my grandmother and her siblings what i was'nt prepared for was the complete loss of movement in 2 fingers.
