I noticed a nodule in the center section under the ring finger on my right hand several days ago. I do medical chart auditing so Dupuytren's came to mind. It is almost like an elongated nodule, so I am wondering if it is Dupuytren's and maybe the rope like banding is already starting. I haven't seen my doctor yet, my fingers have some achiness, I do have arthritis in that same hand.

Should I make an appt just for this? I don't her regularly, because I don't have any ongoing problems. I am 48 and don't remember this in any of my family members. My son has a connective tissue disease. I did have a very unusual rash on my hands and feet for months. They had a horrible time treating it and never found the source.
