Old Posts Bogging Down the Forum

To: Forum Regulars:

There are so may "Topics" now that this site has trouble loading the main page. I have emailed Bios, suggesting they remove many of the old post that only have one or two postings. As such, they add nothing to this board and are bogging it down. If you agree with me, you might send the same request to: info@biospecifics.com

loading

Randy, I also noticed that the loading of the forum gets increasingly slow. I would think that only very few people have the time and patience to read through all the posts in this forum. Eventually they have become too many. Personally I would even chop off everything which is older than 2 years but your suggestion to only remove old threads with a few contributions is more considerate. I will write to Biospecifics accordingly.

limits

Hi Randy, I guess we need to provide Biospecifics also with a guideline what to delete. What would you think about deleting

a) any thread that has only a single post and is older than 6 month and
b) any thread that has less than 5 posts and is older than 2 years

Wolfgang
PS: what kind of software are you programming? We are developing logistics software (www.cal.de)

At least they killed the Spam!!

I wouldn't want to see all the old posts deleted. It's fun to look back 6 years and see that the FDA trials have been delayed but will begin soon...

I'm in agreement. Old posts with few responses can go.

Great. Now all we have to do is inform them that we have decided :-)
