pain and NA

I've asked this before and didn't get much of a response. So I wanted to try one more time and I'll tell you why. About 6-7 months ago my DC started to cause on and off again pain. Here of late, about the last 2 months this pain has greatly increased in its intensity and frequency. I'm going for NA treatment by Dr. Eaton in early December. By the way, I considered going to Memphis which is much closer to Pittsburgh than is West Palm, but it's cheaper to fly to West Palm than it is to the much closer Memphis. It's almost twice as far to West Palm, yet cheaper to fly there. Go Figure? Anyway, my question is if there's anybody out there who had pain before getting NA and if the NA got rid of the pain or at least greatly reduced it. The pain I'm getting now is starting to really hurt and I'm hoping that the NA will not only straighten my pinky, but also greatly reduce the pain. I'd love to here from anyone who has experienced pain before thier NA and how the NA effected thier pain. Thanks for any response.

pain

Hello Brian, the pain that I have was directly related to some of the cords..the one on my wrist was treated with a cortisone shot right in the node by Dr. Eaton. Since my NA, I have more painful cords in my palm..my fingers do not hurt, even the ones on the right hand that are bending to the palm..because I have so much scar tissue from past unsuccessful surgeries, Dr. Eaton wasn't able to fully straighten but there is still improvement. Good luck with you NA..I'm having another NA procedure on Monday and hope he can do something with the painful lumps in my palm..what a strange disease this is and just wish more research was being done for all of us who have this.

Pain

My NA treated finger hurts now and then. The nodes in my other hand hurts when I press on them. Some of my pain is arthritis though.

Pain and NA

Hi Brian, My DC is not so advanced as yours, but if the pain you are decribing in like a buring where your skin attachs to the node, then you may find some relief with the Vit E and Muscle Rub I describe in my post on Vit E and DC.

Vit E

Vitamin E

Once again is back in the news--perhaps should
be used with caution when taking as a supplement.

Vit E

Hi Alan,

I use Vit E oil rubbed on the skin, which is much different than the oral dosage that has recently been in the news.
