    I have just found out I have Dupuytren's contracture. I got a scorpion bite 2 yrs. ago come late March and about 6 mo. later noted this sm. lump below my ring finger. Well, the lump just kept getting bigger, dropping down and is now in the upper 3/4 of my palm and is 2 lg. lumps and a smaller one. Just a mo. ago I noticed this "glitch" in my ring finger when it went from bent to straight position. I have found this site that does NA. I have no pain, just uncomfortable when I use my nippers for cutting glass (I am an artist). I can lay palm flat and can lift my ring finger. I do note it does not lift as high as my ring finger on the other hand. I saw a surger and he says surgery, naturally. I wonder if it is too early to consider NA? Should one wait till they have problems lifting their finger? Since I am an artist, my hands are very impt. to my work. I don't think I have any chord to cut (but maybe it is just slight =??).
    Anyone know if NA helps with such lumps???

    Hello Georgia,

    I saw your post and out of curiosity, I did a search on scorpion stings and insulin, and sure enough there is a connection between the two. This fits perfectly with the premise of my website on the subject of Dupuytren's, which is that Dupuyten's is caused by an insulin disorder. This is yet another example which lends credibility to the validity of my theory.
