Does anyone know if the Dept of Social Security Disability recognizes Dupy/Lederhhose as a progressive crippling disease in which would make one eligible for SSD income? I am asking because in 1990 they did not have a clue what I was talking about when I told them the basis of my seeking disability.

Hi Troy,

What country are you in? I googles your reference and found it in the UK. Can you provide a website for your Deparetment of Social Security?

Thanks,

Frances

Google 'Department of Social Security Dupuytren's Contracture.' When you enter a websites of these type they often contain lots of reading about things that do not pertain to DC. Click the 'Edit' button at the upper left of your screen, go down to 'Find on this page' then enter 'Dupuytren's Contracture'. This tool will bring you directly to the DC references. If appropriate click 'Denied' or 'Approved' to see the outcome of an appeal. It'll help save you sanity.

Good luck,
Frances

Googling 'Dupuytren's Contracture Tribunal' is also fruitful.
