This is the first time in the history of this forum that everyone agrees with each other and no one is fighting....I'm floating somewhere between euphoria and shock.

The weather up here is beautiful, the sun was out all day, the cardinals were singing and the sound of rushing water beneath the melting snow could be heard. Excitement is in the air because these are the sounds of no return...spring is on its way. Within a few weeks the snow will melt revealing the winter sins of the neighbourhood and we will be entertained with the smell of doggie doo-do and sight wrappers...but nothing can slow the joy in our hearts for in a couple of weeks the street cleaners will come by then our world will be restored to its original beauty. But still... the process of spring unfolding will not be complete until we have heavy rains which will in turn coax plump worms up onto our driveways...worms who while innocently looking for a mate, will be merrily plucked by our toddlers and shown to young and old alike with great pride.
