I'm flying to Florida Friday to see Dr. Eaton. Here's my top ten things that I haven't been able to do in a while.
10. shoot a basketball
9. do a hand stand
8. shake hands
7. clap or "high five" at a ballgame
6. wash my face without poking myself in the eye
5. put my hands in my pockets
4. put on a pair of gloves
3. go rock climbing
2. throw a football
1. play bongos

hey
so when were you there, Monday am? I was in at 9:00 am and out by 10:30 and even though I kept telling my family it would go fine, I was surprised!
I thought holding my finger up straight and being able to bend it back while my hand was flat was purely magical. It seems even better a day later.
I am solidly in the Eaton fan club

Basics on radiotherapy (radiation therapy)
I actually flew into Florida from SC Friday morning, saw Dr. Eaton at 2:00, and flew back home the same day. I was with Dr. Eaton a little less than an hour. The procedure went well, but I wasn't ready for the pain involved in moving joints that haven't moved in 5+ years!

All but rock climbing and the hand stand. Thank you Dr. Eaton! The thought of trying a hand stand gives me the willies but I have considered going to a climbing gym as a form of therapy.
