I have just joined the DC club at 45 years old. I went out
on work comp with an injury to the palm of my hand that
was diagnosed as DC. I have worked in the same field for 20 years which is VERY labor intensive. I have educated myself through this site as well as other sites. I am not sure if going back to work in my field is the best idea for my hand. I do not want to speed up the dc process. Also manual dexterity is a major safety issue for me. What are your experiences with work comp if you care to share. Especially long term claims including re-training.
