Frozen shoulder

Have posted here on and off over the 15 years since I noticed my first knuckle pad... I've now had two surgeries and probably heading into my third next year (doctor says NA not an option as chord is not well defined). I'm 49 years old and also have LD.

Recently I was surprised to read there is a connection between frozen shoulder and DD. I had frozen shoulder in both arms 6 years ago which resolved on its own. Now it appears I am getting a similar condition in my hips.

Searching the forum, there are a few closed threads on frozen shoulder. Has anybody figured out how the conditions are related?

Re: Frozen shoulder

IANAD but dupuytren is probably a category of general fibrosis that can affect many parts of the joints and areas of the body. If you can believe Wikipedia take a look there at fibrosis where dupuytren and frozen shoulder (arthrofibrosis) are included as examples. It makes sense to me as I can relate to some of the other conditions mentioned there or have seen mentioned by other people.
Edit to update that adhesive capulitis (or frozen shoulder) is on the Wikipedia page for fibrosis.
