I was scheduled for surgery for release of my dd but because my dup was so severe my pcp wanted a second opinion from a university. The surgeon at the university told me removing the dup would not solve my problem and my pinky would not be able to be straightened. This would be the second surgery on this finger. He said my joint was shot and said the only thing he could do for me was to fuse the joint so it would not get worse, he might be able to straighten it a little. It is at 90%. My ring finger he thought would benefit from the new injection and referred me to his partner. Has anyone had fusing done for dd
